(Original Caption). This photo shows Dr. Sikka as he examines Ramu, the wolf boy of Lucknow, at Balrampur Hospital, after he was discovered, and where he is undergoing physiotherapy. Sir Philip Manson-Bahr, British authority on tropical medicine and the only Western specialist to examine the boy, said February 16, that he has doubts he was reared among animals. Sir Philip's secretary who was present at the examination, said the scars on Ramu's head are from animal bites. The nine-year-old has a double pair of front upper incisors. He is deformed, apparently from lying in cramped positions. He has never tried to walk as a human child, according to Sir Philip, who also said, he cannot speak and he eats and drinks like an animal.
