(Original Caption) 8/12/59-Little Rock, Arkansas: A woman and a child, both of whom refused to identify themselves, March in front of the Arkansas Capitol here, August 12th, protesting the scheduled integration of this city's high schools, one Negro student was scheduled to enter Central High and three Negroes are to attend Hall High School when the schools open, August 12th. Governor Orval Faubus said that he had rumors to the effect that violence was planned, and implored segregationists not to attack police charged with keeping the peace at the schools. Wood effect frame, card mounted, 10x8 fade resistant photo print. Overall outside dimensions 14x12 inches (36x31cm). Environmentally and ozone friendly, 40mm wide x 15mm Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang. Prints are glazed with lightweight, shatterproof, optical clarity acrylic (providing the same general protection from the environment as glass).
