A Fifteenth Century-style holy chalice designed by Pugin and made by the Birmingham firm of J. Hardman and Co, circa 1850. The chalice is made from silver parcel gilt, decorated with champ-leve enamels and garnets. It was displayed at the Great Exhibition in London in 1851.
