Rock carving of an Elephant in the archaeological site called In Galghien, by the dry river Mathendush in western Libya. The region is the Fezzan and the mountain range is Tadrart Acacus. This part of the Sahara desert is considered an open-air museum because of the rock art that can be found in various forms such as petroglyphs, rock paintings and carvings. They date from 12000 B.C. to 150 A.D
