Supermarine Spitfire
A Supermarine Spitfire IIa P7350 (foreround), and a Hawker Hurricane IIc LF363 with markings as they appeared in Guy Hamiltons film Battle Of Britain, 1969. Built in 1940, the Spitfire took part in the Battle of Britain, serving with 266 Squadron and 603 (City of Edinburgh) AuxAF Squadron. The Hurricane was built in 1944 and is believed to be the last Hurricane to enter service with the RAF. Both aircraft are still flying with the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.
