Modern Night Sky Constellation - Canis Major
Simple, modern depiction of a celestial constellation. The constellation Canis Major is located in the southern hemisphere of the sky. It is a small to mid-sized constellation covering an area of 380 square degrees. It ranks 43rd in size among the 88 constellations in the night sky. Canis Major is one of the 48 constellations originally cataloged by the Greek astronomer Ptolemy in the second century. Its name means “the greater dog” in Latin.

Mount Bromo is an active volcano and part of the Tengger massif, in East Java, Indonesia. The massif area is one of the most visited tourist attractions in East Java, Indonesia. The volcano belongs to the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park. The name of Bromo derived from Javanese pronunciation of Brahma, the Hindu creator god.
