Photograph shows the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum in the former Carnegie Mansion on Fifth Avenue at 91st Street in Manhattan, early 1910s. Designed by Babb, Cook, and Willard and completed in 1901 the house was the first residential building with steel frame supports and one of the first in New York with an Otis safety elevator.
