Antique illustration of Villa Barbaro or Villa di Maser (Maser, Veneto, Italy) by the 16th century Italian architect Andrea Palladio, one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The villa, inspired by classical architecture, features a long block with a main central part resembling the portico of a Roman temple, with four Ionic columns and two symmetrical wings (with open arcade in the front) ending with a pavilion. In front of the villa there is a beautiful ornamental garden with the gate overlooking the street and on the left of the picture there is a church resembling an ancient temple (it is called Tempietto Barbaro) with portico and dome.
