Framed Print of Saadian Tombs in Marrakech

The Saadian tombs in Marrakech date back to the times of Sultan Ahmad al-Mansur (1578-1603). The tombs were discovered in 1917 and restored for services of Fine Arts. The tombs are by their beautiful decoration, one of the biggest attractions for visitors to Marrakech. The mausoleum comprises the remains of about sixty members of the Saadi Dynasty, among which are those of Ahmad al-Mansur and his family. The building consists of three rooms. The most famous is that of the twelve columns containing the tomb of the son of Ahmad al-Mansur. The stele is made of cedar and stucco. The monuments are made of Carrara marble.Outside the building a garden with graves of soldiers and servants are available. Unleash your creativity with premium art prints that turn any room into a visual masterpiece. © AmaiaArozena&GotzonIraola
