(Original Caption). Senate candidate Lar J. Daly, of the America First Party in Illinois is shown. He made an unsuccessful effort to file an appeal with the Supreme Court for review of the refusal of the State Electoral Board to place the Party on the Ballot. a court clerk told Daly he would need a certified record of the Illinois Supreme Court's action September 27th, refusing to allow the organization to appeal the State Electoral Board's decision. Daly claimed he appeared at the Electoral Office before the 5 P.M. august 16th deadline for filing petitions, and that his petition was in order. He charged that a clerk, whom he described as a supporter of Senator Paul Douglas, (D-Ill.), turned down the petition on the grounds it was presented too late. The elections were predicted to probably be over before anything could be done on his token appeal. But he said The publicity. Wood effect frame, card mounted, 10x8 fade resistant photo print. Overall outside dimensions 14x12 inches (36x31cm). Environmentally and ozone friendly, 40mm wide x 15mm Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang. Biodegradable and made with non-chlorinated gases (no toxic fumes) it is efficient; producing 100 tons of polystyrene can save 300 tons of trees! Prints are glazed with lightweight, shatterproof, optical clarity acrylic (providing the same general protection from the environment as glass). The back is stapled hardboard with a sawtooth hanger attached. Note: measurements provided are estimated outer dimensions, which include both the image and the frame.
