(Original Caption) 6/10/1943-Los Angeles, CA. Watts was a hot spot area in last night's disorders. It was here that a mixed crowd of service men and civilians began what looked like a house to house hunt for Pachucos. Pacific Electric cars in Watts were stoned on every trip between 9 and 11 pm and window glass shattered. A truck filled with zooters was stopped by service men and unloaded amid flying fists. Police reserves stopped the fighting and sent seven of the juvenile zooters to the detention ward of the Georgia Street Receiving Hospital for investigation.
