(Original Caption). Mrs. T.H. Peaks, left, and Mrs D.C. Billings of Clint, Texas, who claim to be the oldest living twins in the United States. They were born in Camden, Maine in 1839 and have just passed their 83rd birthday, having lived on the border for nearly 70 years. During the Civil War their husbands fought on opposite sides and at present one is of the Catholic and one of Protestant faith. Mrs. T.H. Peaks is the mother of 13 children and has 26 grandchildren. Their maiden name was Tarbell and they have been known as the Tarbell twins. On their 83rd birthday recently they were visited by two of the youngest twins of the neighborhood who brought them a basket of goodies. The senior twins taking care of the chickens. Wood effect frame, card mounted, 10x8 fade resistant photo print. Overall outside dimensions 14x12 inches (36x31cm). Environmentally and ozone friendly, 40mm wide x 15mm Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang. Biodegradable and made with non-chlorinated gases (no toxic fumes) it is efficient; producing 100 tons of polystyrene can save 300 tons of trees! Prints are glazed with lightweight, shatterproof, optical clarity acrylic (providing the same general protection from the environment as glass). The back is stapled hardboard with a sawtooth hanger attached. Note: measurements provided are estimated outer dimensions, which include both the image and the frame.
