Holding up the National flag, a group of anti-government students in a garden near Bogota's Haveriana University as they are being sprayed with water by a police anti-riot car, May 3rd. Students have refused to attend classes since Guillermo Leon Valencia, opposition Presidential candidate of the conservative-Liberal coalition, was arrested May 1st. On May 6th, students angered by the death of a teenager in weekend rioting called on the Colombian people to support a 24-hour general strike against President Gustavo Rojas Pinilla.
