Salvador Dali, wearing a space helmet topped by two kewpie dolls with eyes that light up, directs the removal of the painting Satyr Surrounded By Nymphs by the French 19th century artist Adolphe Bouguereau from the Berkshire Hotel January 23rd. Dali, who painted an incomprehensible abstract in return for the $3, 500 masterpiece of realism, collected the prize over the protests of the hotel's regretful management. Dali originally made the deal so he could take the painting out of circulation because he then considered it the worst of bad art. He revealed January 23rd he is a great admirer of Bouguereau and is making a collection of his works. The painting has been the focal point of the hotel's Victorian Barberry Room Restaurant and a hotel spokesman said he would like to return these maidens to their admirers who look upon them with the greatest lust and affe. Wood effect frame, card mounted, 10x8 fade resistant photo print. Overall outside dimensions 14x12 inches (36x31cm). Environmentally and ozone friendly, 40mm wide x 15mm Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang. Biodegradable and made with non-chlorinated gases (no toxic fumes) it is efficient; producing 100 tons of polystyrene can save 300 tons of trees!
