Mrs. Gala Dali, wife of the noted Spanish surrealist painter, Salvador Dali, who is thought by many to be nothing but a figment of the imagination himself, is being served with food in a golden slipper as she reclines in a big red velvet bed at a recent party tossed by her husband for the benefit of refugee artists. She's wearing a horse's head. This is not unusual for the woman who had to once pose for her portrait with a lamb chop on either shoulder to give that soulful look. Her husband, the great explorer into the subconscious, stands beside her (with moustache). The animal at left, whether he looks real or not, is a real live lion cub. The red velvet bed, with Mrs. Dali in it, was at the head of the banquet table at the party. All the best people were there, believe it or not. Wood effect frame, card mounted, 10x8 fade resistant photo print. Overall outside dimensions 14x12 inches (36x31cm). Environmentally and ozone friendly, 40mm wide x 15mm Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang. Biodegradable and made with non-chlorinated gases (no toxic fumes) it is efficient; producing 100 tons of polystyrene can save 300 tons of trees! Prints are glazed with lightweight, shatterproof, optical clarity acrylic (providing the same general protection from the environment as glass). The back is stapled hardboard with a sawtooth hanger attached. Note: measurements provided are estimated outer dimensions, which include both the image and the frame.
