(Original Caption). When Salvador Dali, Spanish surrealist painter, gave a party recently for the benefit of refugee artists, the guests were entertained at banquet tables like these. It was almost enough to turn the guests into refugees themselves. There were smaller tables to take care of overflow guests. The ceiling is festooned with 5, 000 burlap bags to give a depressed feeling. It didn't. In the center of the table are the usual appurtenances of a party, you know, a porcupine in a cage, iced monkeys, and things like that. A wombat was also present, but is not in the picture. It was imported to the affair to make up for an absent giraffe. Mr. and Mrs. Dali presided at the head of the table. She reclined in a red velvet bed and wore a horses head. Wood effect frame, card mounted, 10x8 fade resistant photo print. Overall outside dimensions 14x12 inches (36x31cm). Environmentally and ozone friendly, 40mm wide x 15mm Polycore® moulding has the look of real wood, is durable and light and easy to hang. Biodegradable and made with non-chlorinated gases (no toxic fumes) it is efficient; producing 100 tons of polystyrene can save 300 tons of trees! Prints are glazed with lightweight, shatterproof, optical clarity acrylic (providing the same general protection from the environment as glass). The back is stapled hardboard with a sawtooth hanger attached. Note: measurements provided are estimated outer dimensions, which include both the image and the frame.
