Seeking Florentine inspiration, 30-year-old Milton visited 77-year-old Galileo. Galileo had been found guilty of heresy by the 1633 Inquisition, for writing that the Earth revolves around the Sun. When Milton met him, Galileo was blind and sequestered under house arrest. His meeting with the brave scientist who had fallen victim to censorship, a censorship that Milton denounced, made a profound impact on the English man of letters.

12"x10" Modern Frame
10x8 Print in an MDF Wooden Frame with 180 gsm Satin Finish Paper. Glazed using shatter proof thin plexi glass. Frame thickness is 1 inch and depth 0.75 inch. Fluted cardboard backing held with clips. Supplied ready to hang with sawtooth hanger and rubber bumpers. Spot clean with a damp cloth. Packaged foam wrapped in a card.
