Vintage image features firemen putting out a fire in the aftermath of an explosion in a building on Hague Street, New York City, and, with the help of other citizens, searching the ruins for victims. The explosion happened on February 4, 1850 at a printing press manufacturer where a basement boiler exploded up through all the floors and out of the roof. Sixty-nine people were killed and thirty-four wounded

10x8 Print in an MDF Wooden Frame with 180 gsm Satin Finish Paper. Glazed using shatter proof thin plexi glass. Frame thickness is 1 inch and depth 0.75 inch. Fluted cardboard backing held with clips. Supplied ready to hang with sawtooth hanger and rubber bumpers. Spot clean with a damp cloth. Packaged foam wrapped in a card.
