Looking at the scenae frons (stage backdrop) to the ancient Roman Theatre in Palmyra. The scenae frons (stage backdrop) is in excellent condition and is extremely elaborate and belongs to a style of Roman architecture called the eastern-baroque.In the foreground is the sweeping elegant curve of the theatres semi circular stone seating.
