In the early years of the twentieth century, the tiny resort of Frinton-on-Sea on the Essex coast was a haunt for the rich and famous. By 1921 Frinton had around two hundred huts which bathers could rent or buy. For decades, the beach huts could only be painted black or stained wood but the local authority conceded they were fighting a losing battle after the promenade became awash with polka dots and stripes. 16x12 Print in an MDF Wooden Frame with 180 gsm Satin Finish Paper. Glazed using shatter proof thin plexiglass. Frame thickness is 1 inch and depth 0.75 inch.
